I purchased my LF1 in Guernsey in the British Channel Islands, just off the French coast. As these Islands are not part of the European Union the camera was tax free. During WWII these islands were occupied by the Germans who built ugly concrete structures everywhere. Fortunately the Islands retained their natural beauty.

This Panorama was one of my first photographs. It is Fort Clonque and the tidal race named the Swinge on the Island of Alderney. I am using Panorama mode and have tinkered a little with Lightzone. I just wanted a compact camera with a viewfinder and a good zoom. I never expected to be able to do this!

This picture is of the garden of the Seignury on the Island of Sark. Sark is self governing and governed by the Seigneur, a hereditary ruler, it is Fuedal, and this is his garden, which is a riot of colour.

This picture is of the Gannet colony on Alderney. Gannets have a wingspan of 6ft. They are magnificent seabirds. The level of detail in this picture amazed me from such a tiny camera.
