New Pentax K30?

    100% OVF coverage. Nice touch! Hope the magnification is big enough too, and close to the K-5's.

    Looks quite interesting. Most of the features of the K-5 at the price point of the K-r.

  7. I've been tossing up about whether to sell the K-5 (weight issues). If the K-30 is light enough, its a goer for me.

    The K-01 was DOA to begin with. It will sound harsh (because, well it is) but he sole reason for the K-01 was to attempt to keep Pentax users from straying off to Sony, PanOly, Canikon and Fuji until Ricoh can right the ship by saying "hey, we have mirrorless too!". And it was a leftover from the Hoya days that they'd already sunk enough money into that they had to bring it to market.

    The K30 appears to be another competent camera of the type of cameras that Pentax builds well, but makes me a bit sad since I don't see how it gains them any ground.
