I can't afford the Nikon 32 1.2, so I'm thinking about using this instead.
I need a thin adapter before I can properly test it. I'm trying to decide if I'm going to order a chip or not for the adapter.
Please be honest I don't want to waste money on a chip if the lens isn't good enough.
Both shots are wide open.

1st shot is standing on heavily shaded porch shooting into bright light.
2nd shot is shooting into the sun. You can see the sun in the photo just above the bend in the tree.
No hood or filter was used

I know very little about the Nikon 1 series other than the fact that it is a 1" sensor, superfast AF and has shutter speeds up to 1/16000 sec (please correct if wrong).

I have seen an increasing number of images from the cameras but most of them have been stunning and razor sharp and a good set of lenses helps.

These look nice and must compete favourably with some of the Mu43 sensors out there
