Hey now. It's noon Eastern. Don't make me start another one.

An image from April, taken on film at night in Harvard Square, reprocessed as a b&w in Raw Therapee.

LOL! I was going to, last night, but just didn't get round to it. I too am doing archival stuff. I haven't the energy *or* the inclination to be out and about every night, or even once a week :)

Alas, I am now reduced to old DSLR shots. At least they are all *small* DSLRs

It may just be an old DSLR shot.....but it's waaaay cool. The geometry, the angles, the contrast.....there's quite a lot going on here.

    Opal and Teddy

My recently born granddaughter, Opal, who has recently attained the exalted age of 2 months, had a long a difficult day.....but finally exhaustion set in, and when it did, her Teddy bear was nearby.

The light coming through the wicker bassinet created some cool patterns, too. And Teddy looks rather tuckered out, too.

Small DSLR's are good - I'm saying that loudly so my Nikon D40 can hear!
This is too cool. I feel like I'm about to be run over by a trolley.

I really like this, but what IS it? At first I thought it was a double-decker something, but the top "deck" seems to be separate from the "car" holding the women. And the rope the man is handling - is this nautical? A ferry, maybe?

    The ferry

Yes, it is indeed a ferry. Lisbon is in the right bank of the Tagus, a mere ten miles/fifteen kilometers from the sea. The Tagus is several miles wide in Lisbon, and there are several towns in the left bank, most of them connected by ferries to Lisbon. This particular picture was taken in Cacilhas, on my way back to Lisbon. There are also two bridges connecting the two banks, one of them built in the sixties (very much like the Golden Gate bridge, in San Francisco), and another one built recently.
