My last one from the Metro Center. It's dusk for night - taken when it was just dark enough for the cars to be turning on their headlights, with the intention of "aging" it fifteen or twenty minutes in PP.

Receipts at the end of a long night

Taken a few nights ago, leaving a local pizzeria where we had gone for beers and to watch a basketball game, and it had been a long night, not just for us but for the folks waiting tables, and working in the kitchen.

I saw the night's receipts had been impaled - and had to take a photo.

We used this system, and I am surprised and proud to able to say, in over 20 years I never ONCE impaled any part of my hand in using it! I've loved these photos. It never occurred to me to record them when they were part of my daily life. Seeing your lovely images from another place, another timehas given me a delightful 'the same, but different' experience - a sort of reverse Deja vu
