Hello folks, got this lens at a knock down price unboxed. Unfortunately there was no manual and I am trying to get my head around the full/limit button alongside the i function button. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

I don't have the lens, but that type of switch is common a macro lens. The "full" option allows the lens to travel through it's full focus range from infinity to macro. If you are photographing subjects at more normal subject distances the autofocus speed will slow down dramatically if the lens needs to traverse it's full focus range to lock onto the subject. Selecting the "limit" option sets the minimum focusing distance to a larger value so that the autofocus has a smaller operating range to work in. The catch is that you can't do macro in this mode and will need to switch the lens back to "full" to restore the full focusing range.
