In the back yard of a house that was ruined by Hurricane Irene 13 months ago, still ripped to pieces and rotting alongside Route 100 in Vermont. Just out of focus to the left is the path the river took when it exploded over its banks, leaving boulders and tree trunks across what used to be their back yard before it positively ripped through their house and garage, pulling walls off and filling the floors with sand and debris.

I love a nice park scene Wish we could see those autumn colours here. We only get green, or none, in this area
Catching up posting...
Foul weather outside this day, most wonderful dog inside. Sadly didn't capture her image to do were wonderful disposition justice. Kady is a "rescue" dog from a society that saves dogs from destruction in northern British Columbia. Part Husky and part a bunch of other breeds no doubt, only a curly tail really suggests Husky but that's what we are told.
We adopted her at about 4 months old and she rapidly adopted us.
