The eagle has landed
So far today it's probably been greyer than yesterday, certainly colder, windier and wetter, oh joy! So a rare indoor shot from me, but at least I can tick off another category on the hunt list since, as a gift from my late Mother, this guy fits the "something dear" theme.
Barrie, after seeing what you are enduring this month, I will never complain about our weather ever again.
Luke, October here in the UK can be a rather pleasant benign month, this year however must be heading for one of the wettest and dullest on record, certainly in my part of the country, others might have had a different experience. Although a relatively small land area the weather can vary widely across the country and be very changeable, typical of a maritime influenced climate.

Saartje cooperated for once. Well done!
I was struck by the kitty snapping bug today. Neither shot was great enough to be featured on it's own, so I went with a diptych......

Lumber in the back of our pickup
Reaching here today... busy building some heavy duty shelving in my garage.
That is the most awesome birdhouse I've ever seen......my cats are pointing on my computer screen and laughing at it, too.
Goodness, that's adorable.
