Nice weather, nice light today, and I actually was able to get out and enjoy it for a change. Lately my time has not been my own.
Walked along an abandoned railway line that cuts through one of the richest neighborhoods (not mine) in the city... probably in the country. Lovely spot.

On Monday evening the ladies behind the counter at the local bowling alley noticed I had a camera out. Turns out they are independently of each other both photographers themselves, one being enrolled in a course. Unbidden she set these pins up for me.

These lanes have been here some 60 years and I'm told there are interesting drawings in behind the pin setting machines, some dating back to when pins were set by hand. A few of the human pin-setters kept themselves occupied by decorating the walls. One of these days I'll get back there with my camera in tow.
