seems like forever ago I left the world of Panasonic m43 cameras. I loved my gf1 to bits. I had a G3 for a couple days but was bitter about them leaving the eye sensor out which my old G1 had. Did they ever bring back the eye sensor? Looks like a pretty nice package (though all those G series cameras are ugly black plastic blobs).

Looks like the G6 has an eye sensor.

And did I mention LOTS of function buttons?

GH2 sensor is good, but not the latest. I don't like this choice. 5 fn buttons is nice. The specs do not list a mic input, which would have been nice. Is there one or not? If not, then I can see picking up a g5 for less money as a solid choice.

As some of us have discovered, the latest sensor is not always the greatest sensor in some circumstances. I don't think it is a bad choice but we will see what the overall market thinks.

Just found the 3.5mm audio input. It's a well featured camera.

Good point! Feature list looks great, so it'll be a solid camera.
