    Hey everyone,

Here's my latest video, comparing two of the best pocket sized cameras on the market, the Panasonic GM1 against the Sony RX100 Mk II:

Lots of great info and I know it represents a bunch of hard effort. Appreciate it. Seems like the only thing the cams have in common is form factor, but that's enough to consider if their aiming for similar markets. It's a nice "end-user" comprehensive overview of the gear.

I'd like to see you guys put forth an effort to create artistic photography and video with the equipment though. Seems like such a shame to have all that potential in your hands and then see simple snapshots. I really put my GM1 to use this past week and was amazed at how incredible it was in low light for video. Lots of potential for photography opportunities with these newer cameras. Maybe network with your customers, see if anyone with a good eye would donate their time to work with you on one of these outings?

    Keep up the good work!

Nice job, Jordan. I like the RX100 II but I can't see springing for that camera when the GM1 is available.

I rather get the XQ1, $300 less and even smaller that compliments my GX7 well

Great stuff Jordan, always follow your videos, always fun and informative.

Ive been wondering for the GM1 + P20mm as a pocket "regular" FOV camera. but for the same price they are asking here in NZ at least, I could get an EM5 or EM1 or Fuji X100s, etc. so still not sure.

    great stuff!.
