I wasn't much of a mood, but the tree I parked under today was calling to me to take a shot (it was a lunch with a friend day). And since I carry the X100 all the time (just in case) I did. Its a really old tree, I couldnt get the entire thing into the first shot. the other two are bark details. Paperbarks are probably the most interesting of the Eucalypts (aside from Scribblygums... oh, and River Redgums... and ghost gums...)

The paperbark really does look like wetted down paper. Cool.
