When only a DSLR with a long lens will do. Hand held and shaky.
Sunrise Pelican by kyte50, on Flickr
Love that golden outline from the morning sun; a nice, calming image.
Thank you And wasn't he agreeable, just standing still for me. I took quite a few of him, and he posed this way and that, but this one was my favourite.
Sue - that is a beautiful picture! I love pelicans! Really wonderful - and I don't sense any shakiness at all. Well done and good for you for being there this morning/
Thanks, BB. Really should have got the tripod out, but I was on a narrow path and would have been obstructing walkers. I think had I gone down the stair to the beach, Mr. Pelly would have left.
Awesome stuff as always Sue!!! Pelicans are one of my Dave birds, them and seagulls
Thanks, Kerri. "Dave" birds? LOL
Bloody iPad! Fave birds lol
Quiet and contemplative, lovely
As said a lovely shot Sue with good detail and great light.
Thnaks, Lili and Bill. I dunno, I keep wanting to sell the DSLR and then, I get shots like this. Perhaps its OK to have multiple cameras for different reasons. Even when you are as poor as a churchmouse
