My trio of Serious Compacts:
That's very nice. I've always been curious about the Rollei 35.
Scale focusing takes a bit more diligence, but the camera is easy to use. I haven't had it very long. For the past couple of years, the 35RC has been my compact film camera.
always liked the look of that Rollei. Looks very tactile?
It is. The Rollei is a stout little beast, and sits firmly and comfortably in my hand. It does take a rather long press of the button to activate the shutter, as opposed to the Olympus 35RC, which has a very short press on the button to trip the shutter.
I'm surprised how big the Rollei is compared to the X30, but it's still a nice looking beast.
