I shot the local festival here in Edgewood Texas for the historical society today. I used my new A77 with a Tamron 18-250 for all the shots and I suppose they came out pretty good. I shot a lot of the cars with the multi-shot mode where it combines several shots at ISO 400 and 800 since it was kind of dark and cloudy today for a while. All jpeg and most of them are in the 18Mb range too so I have to reduce them in some way to make them a reasonable size to upload to Zenfolio.

What is the best way to batch re-size them all where I will lose the least quality. We are talking about 641 shots and over 9Gb so I need to do something. I'm confused over the whole don't re-sample, do re-sample thing to. Any help is appreciated.

I use Faststone Image Viewer which is free and fast enough. As well as batch resize it also does simple editing - crop, straighten, levels etc.

There is also Fastone Image Resizer - also free which will do batches. LINK.
