Hereby some of my observations from Rome. We had a really good time and saw beautiful things, the central districts are really one big museum. If you get the opportunity to visit: don´t skip the neighbourhood Trevestere, very nice atmosphere and restaurants.

I found it difficult to capture the grand buildings and architecture so my best shots are ´smaller´ details. I'm very much still learning. So feel free to tell me which ones you do and don't like and maybe why:)

Pantheon temple, which was stunning. Light comes in via a 7 meter wide opening in the dome.

Day 2 was all about the Vatican:

i like them all. Often better to go for small detail than the whole......as you have done. I found the Pantheon difficult, but you managed a good shot. I am still looking at my Vatican shots, I am not happy with them.......but your are good.

An interesting set of images. I really must go to Rome one day.

It's a shame you couldn't spare a decisive moment or two to visit the HC-B exhibition. Maybe next time.

Nice collection of images. Rome must be a great city to visit, particularly for anyone with more than a passing interest in history.

You asked for some feedback, and I noted that a few of your crops are fairly tight which would be a consideration if you choose to print and frame any since you will lose a strip along each edge of the image. I like both of your nighttime black and white images, but the daytime ones seem a little underexposed to me. The beam of light coming in through the window of the fourth image looks very impressive!
