Sony RX1 + Zombies (Graphic!)

I finally got my chance to check out the annual zombie walk in Vancouver this past weekend. It was such a blast! So many wicked dressup and the makeup was just amazing. There were a lot of people there. The zombies would gathered at the Art Gallery for about an hour, and then they would walk through downtown. I spent an hour shooting at the art gallery and then followed them for a bit during the walk. The RX1 did pretty well though I found I missed focus some of the shots. A few of them seemed to focus on the chest as oppose to the face. Mostly shot at f2 and used the center focus to half press and recompose. Anyways here are some photos from the event. I'll update this thread a few times as I go through the photos.

4. I absolutely love their outfit. The leash reminded me of Walking Dead.

Very nice...I wish we had things like this where I live :)

Are you in Canada? the UK?...there are always zombie walks there!

It does seem as if you missed focus in a few places, I've found that the RX1 AF doesn't do that well for moving subjects at wider apertures...my solution has been to go to a deep DOF and hope for the best.

And PS: the zombie texting on the iphone is classic.
