Does anyone know how to identify the shutter count on an RX100? Please share your insights. Many thanks,

I think the RX100, like the RX1, has no way to determine the actuations. I've heard this has something to do with it having a leaf shutter.

It's far less relevant than it used to be anyway.

Exactly. The mirrorless cameras don't have the mirror flipping anymore and most shutters are electronic or have an option of either.

Thanks for your reply - I suspect you're right; it would generally harm second-hand sales to not have a shutter count. My understanding is that the RX100 has an electronic shutter, not a leaf shutter.

It may have an electronic shutter in addition to the leaf shutter. The leaf shutter is why the top shutter speed is only 1/2000. OTOH, a leaf shutter is so quite and free of vibration that it's hard to notice it. It's a lovely camera.
