Just got back from a week on Tenerife with the RX100 as the only camera. Didn't miss the DSLR one bit.
I shot everything in jpeg and did a tiny bit of tweaking in Lightroom on the ones that seemed to benefit.

For having spent a lot of time messing with raw files and carrying around DSLR bodies and lenses, the RX100 is such a breath of fresh air.
The RX100 is proving to be clearly the best camera investment I've ever made.

Normally I grow tired of in camera filters, but I'm pretty hooked on some of these Sony ones.....

The Sony filters are a lot of fun. I just wish they simplify them just a wee bit, lol. Love the water color one.

yeah, I wish there were a way to just limit them to a user defineable set. I only use four or five, but scrolling through them all is a major drag.

When I got back to my Hotel room I looked at this wide -angle shot on the LCD and was puzzled as I'd never seen so much distortion.
Next day I went back to notice for the first time that the lamps were bent. Too much beer I guess.

I bought one of these on the way home on Tuesday in advance of leaving for a trip at 0400ET on Wednesday...I am so far extremely impressed, especially since my expectations were somewhat low going in. The pic below is a quick snap that shows at least that the lens is very sharp (at least in the center). I also find the camera exceptionally responsive, especially considering the fact that it's flinging ~20mb files around inside.

You all with your Rx100 cameras have started my G.A.S. attacks again. I've been reading about it's newer version...and like the idea of the Wifi....but I digress. Back to the images!!!
