    Yes... I can't understand why when I select the toy, and then invert it to black fill the BG, that there are pixels (?) that don't fill......
    Even cloning doesn't help.

    But it does let see how many mm's of DoF the scanner has... from the glass to about 8mm... from the tip of the nose to about 1/2 in the mouth.

    Arbib, maybe you have a black t-shirt you can drape over the toy.

    Roger, how are you getting those nice inky black backdrops?

    they just are Luke - daylight shot on the peppers too
    maybe the sensor is so limited in range it will just not record - therefore black

    Roger, do you have the white cover on the top scanner for regular doc's?
    Or do you just the top of the scanner up?
