tried hard to bring out the dark threatening nature of the water as I saw it, but I feel I might have overdone the sky a bit in the process.

The Cathedral you see in the middle completely dominates the Newcastle skyline. You know you're in Newie when you see that

My little village is down amongst the trees, you can just see some of the roofs. One from this mornings walk with the unusual sight of clouds which we haven't seen for a few days.
