Animals Show "Horses"

Boy, have I been behind on this thread - I'm still kind of stuck between laughing and being freaked out by Bill's curly coated "French horse" who seems to be braying at him!

Luke, I'm so sorry about Griese and hope she makes a speedy and complete recovery. Just read a bit more about what happened (??) over on Flickr.

Dartmoor Ponies

Pure breed Dartmoors are a dying breed, nobody wants them these days (like older model digital cameras :)). I'm not well enough versed in the breed to say if these are pure bred or not.

Reluctant to give way to me, I'd say the adult filly is pregnant once again.

A rather hesitant pony

Quenching a thirst, this grey is probably not the same animal as shot number 2, if it is it's walked rather a long way and picked up a well grown foal as well

from recent programme / feature on tv - pure bred all seem to be dark brown with a long white flash on nose

the earliest horse in Britain over 10,000 years ago (maybe more as our ancestors used to hunt them - cheddar gorge )
