Show your summer mood shots.
Thanks for the great images. I'm in mood for summer, I'm longing for summer, unfortunately this year we haven't had real summer. Still hope it will arrive late this year.
Mm, Dutch Summer.

Grandy's Farmers Market in Grandy, North Carolina. (Yes they had fruits and veggies, too)
Kevin, thank you so much for starting this thread because it will keep going all year long. As we in the northern hemisphere try to hold on to our last days of summer, calling the early fall Indian Summer, if we're lucky,...and the leaves start to turn and the daylight fades...we've got our friends in the southern hemisphere whose summers are beginning to unfurl!!
Thanks Herman/BB, that first shot with the 3 girls on the paddle-kayak will certainly carry me through the coming winter - it is already on my desktop background as those girls seem so carefree ... sigh makes me wish I was young again
These feel like summer to me...

Great shots - I can almost taste the Rocky Road double scoop
What is it about "Fudge" and summer places?
Ray these are truly summer - love the one of the boy and girl in the ocean wash.
One more from the summer of 2010 on the Adriatic that I just got finished re-working. Seems I have a lot of older shots that I did before I had (or knew how to use) Silver Efex Pro that I can do a lot more with now, with the help of that software. Have re-worked about 8-10 over the last couple of days - pretty cool to find new potential in old photos...

Shades of "Dirty Dancing"...except at the ocean. I absolutely love that shark thing up in the sky in the background. A wonderful moment for these two. Well done, Ray.

Summertime.....and the livin' is easy......
That is a fantastic shot! I have to ask do you ever tire of living in Hawaii?
Pavel and Rich - thank you both. I feel better just looking at these two.
Yeah, Rich, do you ever get tired of it? Gorgeous shot and sumptuous colors. Can I beam myself over?
No wonder summer even has songs written about it.
No....never......I have lived here for 35 years and have no intention of living anywhere else.
As beautiful the landscapes are here......the real beauty resides in the people.
Captain.....prepare to be beamed aboard!!
Rich, the more I look at your photo the more I love it - colors, setting, composition, etc. I especially love the perspective of the shot, it makes me want to climb into my monitor and learn to surf ... or to be completely truthful, introduce myself to the surfer and ask for surfing lessons
