All jpegs as aperture is still not supporting the A`s raw files. I really like this camera. It sets the bar high for the new Ricoh.

you should be able to figure it out...
Beautiful stuff! Yes, it does raise the bar. I'm gonna check out the Ricoh and will probably end up getting it over the Nikon, but it's gonna be tough to pass on the Nikon, knowing how good it is. Hopefully, the Ricoh rises to essentially the same level. If not, we've got OPTIONS!

wow, great shots! love the colours, contrast & dynamic range of these jpegs. Nice compositions too, please show us more!

one thing though, I often see that when people attach images to a post, instead of just linking to an image posted elsewhere, the images often end up besides each other instead of underneath each other, and I have to scroll sideways.
Am I the only one getting that?

Lovely rich looking files and great photos by you! Those Nikon colours are quite different to the Fuji ones but just as nice :)

Very nice. The Nikon A produces quite a three dimensional and rich feeling, I like it.

Are you saying that you need to scroll to see these? I'm not getting that. They display one atop the other for me. I don't know what setting that could be, b ut if you start a thread for it, surely someone will know.

Great shots. I'm pretty sure that last one is from the Godfather.

You are right. The first shot shows the church in the background in which Michael Corleone got married, Nr 2 the interior of the church and the last two the famous bar Vitelli.

Very nice! Lovely photos with lovely depth and colors. If Nikon would just drop the A's price to $800 ... I might get the A over the GR just for the tad bit extra in IQ.

    Keep the photos coming.

  15. Well done. Beautiful shots.

I know we're mostly talking about cameras here but I'd love to see shots of a place like Sicily from any old camera, really.

Agreed. But the beauty of sites like this is you can get your photography fix AND your gear fix all in one place. We can marvel at the beauty of Sicily and the fine IQ of the Coolpix A all at once. What's better than that?!?!?
