You know what I'm going to say, it's grey, very grey, cloud down on the hills, drizzle and windy. Joy of joys, 50 yards down the farm track from my cottage, Snowdrops!!!!!!!! Not perhaps as well framed as they should have been, but I was getting wet.

"Ice pellets." 'Twas the forecast this morning. Since then it has turned into rain. :-( Anyway, close crop on a "Money Tree" plant the kitchen. (The CL and Summicron T mount don't like close-ups too much.)

Today, it got really exasperating: When I was driving home from work, I passed by one wonderful opportunity after the other - passed by, because I had a passenger and couldn't possibly stop to take images! When I finally got home, the only thing I could do was to grab the camera and run out to see what I could still catch. But the light had faded, all the magnificent hues had gone, I was too late. Well, at least I tried ...

(It wasn't possible to lift the shadows much further - pretty heavy noise there, still visible in the clouds, and correcting for that created one unpleasant mush ...)

After yesterdays sunshine it's back to normal. Dull and wet but at least it's not cold.
This is the John Milton rooms in Stowmarket named after the Poet and writer who was a regular visitor between 1627 and 1655. It was previously a vicarage and is now the local Registry Office.

This is the back of my business card.

    My company.

    This really matters.

It's probably the most important, significant thing I have ever done.
This is why I don't have much time for photography at the moment.

    It's called Consentricare.

    Watch this space...

Day Twenty Three - the wrong hard day’s night

Darn, couldn’t even be bothered to go for a coffee at lunch time today. When I got home flicked through the films on the bbc iPlayer and settled on “a hard day’s night”. Nothing good could come from this. I patched together a previous shot from the month with a snap of the tv. Sunk to a new level of low for photography for which I can only apologise ... worse still - I can’t believe I got to the end of the film.

Aaron is a colleague who has a great attitude and is really fun to work with. He is a frequent lunch friend when I am in the office. But no lunch today due to corporate activities. :-( Cheated today and used the 45mm lens instead of the 20mm...

Crappy WX (Met Office shorthand for weather); rain, fog and it really came down like the dickens between 1000H and 1700H today. The commute in was too much fun.
