Sigma Six months with SigmaDp3M - I am in love with the output :))

Hi Guys :)
I adopted MFT quite early and I am the biggest supporter of this format and continue to use it as my primary system.Howover from time to time I do suffer GAS and end up buying gear which appeals to me for a unique reason. I was always curious about foveon sensor and around six months ago I managed to get DP3M for a reasonable price .
It took me few days before I felt comfortable and started shooting with DP3M, I must tell you , I dont reach for any other cameras these days . I am totally in love with Sigma DP3M .
There is nothing which beats Sigma for IQ.
SigmaDP3M is the least complicated camera and UI is one of the best . I have Olympus EM5 with 12-40 and Sony A7 with 28-70 and use them from time to me but its Sigma which makes me smile all the time . If anyone of you get a chance , just grab this any of these little pockets rockets and have a blast .
Some images now .They are all JPEGS as I forgot to shoot RAW ;)
Enjoy the pics and feel free to comment :2thumbs::2thumbs:

I so agree.
The DP3M is very special and I even like the software for it.
My main cameras now are the RX100 ,X100S,E-M10 and A7 but the results from the Sigma are unique and more than a match for the A7.

Exactly my thoughts Dennis . When I pick up Sigma , I smile and I know what I am gonna get . All that slow AF , High ISO crap etc etc never are a hinderence . The camera makes me think and final image is beyond capability of any other format at this price point . Interestingly , I havent shot RAW and very happy with JPEGS. I love the built and UI of Sigma .
Cheers

They say a picture speaks a 1000 words and the images reflect that, I currently have a Pentax K3 outfit and it cannot match my DP1M on image quality such as I am seriously considering a DP3M for portraiture. ps what initial settings do you set the camera to

Bhu... I had thoughts of the Merrills in the back of my mind for quite a long while, yet it was your post over on mu43 that relocated the thoughts to the front of my mind... and now I have the DP1M and DP3M to thank you for!

Superb pics after buying my DP3M my RX100 and A7R are taking a rest, the colors entice me back to the DP3 even though its quirky to operate when you get used to the precision of the A7R and RX100. The images justify all the hard work.

My pleasure and I am very happy to see more and more shots from you with your Sigmas.
Cheers

Here is a shot I took today with the Sigma DP3M of my French Bulldog Ozzy. I used the vivid setting in SPP and cut back on some of the saturation in Photoshop. I've only had the camera for three days. I do notice it tends to overexpose so have adjusted in camera setting of -0.3 to start. Anyone have any special settings they wish to share?
