Solar eclipse

    This is the photo of today's solar eclipse in Kyiv. Shot with my old trusty Sony DSC-R1 through my wife's sunglasses. I almost went blind trying to frame the shot.

    Well done - I could have got a wonderful shot of freezing fog. Hope your eyes are OK. Back in 1999 I used the developed end of a 35mm film to view through - try that with digital!

    Fuddlestack, I thought about looking through the developed film but we only recently moved in and most of my photography-related items are still packed.

    Wonderful image, stratokaster! I can almost feel what you felt looking at it, too!

    I can't remember the last time I saw a solar eclipse, though I do remember one many years ago when I skipped school to go to the beach with my friends...but that was years and years ago.
