I had an event this weekend in Stowe VT. I use to live not far from there so a took a little time for some time some shots around the area and a glass blowing shop near Woodstock VT. DSCF5334.

I really should have picked one of those up.

Nice. Were any of those shots taken in crop mode?

Yes, I believe all the glass work was 35 and 50 eq. The small stream and lower falls I believe were taken with the wide converter. I really wish the use of either was visible in the meta data, but I can't see it anywhere.

OK, actually it does seem to show in metadata when I have the wide converter on (at least when I remember to tell the camera I have it on). According to the metadata only the upper falls shot had the converter on (but I think it was on the lower as well and I forgot the setting).

This proves what I've been saying for a while. Even the 50mm crop mode is surprisingly useful and surprisingly good. This goes for both the Fuji X70 and the Ricoh GR.
