I know the A3000 isn't the most popular camera in history, but the sensor looks to deliver top notch APS-C quality.
I found a huge 20+ page thread on TalkNex and the general consensus was positive with a few people dismissing the build quality, handling and EVF/LCD.
There's a firesale of it going on here in Denmark right now, the A3000 with the 18-55OSS for €213 (1599 danish kroner), and that's just ridiculously cheap.
I'm thinking it could make a fun walk around combo with a Sigma 30 f2.8, I can always reuse any lens I get with a new E mount body, and my new Nissin i40 would also be usable on the A3000.
Basicly my GAS has managed to present a reasonable case to my ego, so I'll try to pop by the store and have a play with it.
I'm still unsure about the EVF/LCD quality, but I kinda figure if I can accept a Sigma DP1 (original) LCD I can probably live with the A3000 too
