I had it for about a week. In the US, the 28-70 is only available as part of the A7 kit, at an additional $300 over the body only price. ($2000 vs. $1700)
The kit is average at best. The auto focus speed is ok. The AF is silent, which is nice. The sharpness is ok wide open. Don't expect to get much subject isolation with it, even at full zoom.
500 euros is a lot to pay for the 28-70. I exchanged my A7 + 28-70 kit for the body only version, and saved myself $300.
