    It's a beauty,and nicely captured. It is shaped a lot like a black widow, which I've always thought of as "jewel-like" - not that I want to get too close.Quite amazing creatures.

    As a teenager, I house-painted in the summer to earn money, and as low guy on the totem pole, I got the job of scraping and painting under the eaves, where there were lots of spiders. I learned to appreciate their real beauty.

    Kind of looks like a garden spider to me....Nicely done!
