It may be a British thing.
That's "Afternoons", by the way
Well, here in Philly, we are following British tradition...
I have a 1/2 case of Blue Moon left.
Here in Oz, we definitely follow Brit tradition Sadly, I can't stand beer, so must make do with scotch and soda
Oh, don't get me wrong... He did say afternoons with beer...
It's almost evening here so then the scotch comes out.
And the the headache in the morning...
I don't overdo anymore, gettin too old to cope with it. But, I must say, I NEVER had a hangover withe scotch, even when I did overdo it
Me too ... Way to olde...
I sneak a little single malt when the wife goes out in the garden, like right now.
I think a case of beer probably last me a few months or better. I can talk the talk but can't walk the walk anymore.
Youth is wasted on the young.
And a German thing. Spent many happy afternoon in the beer gardens in the English Garden in Munich with beer, pretzels and roast chicken. Happy days.
I like the German way of life: got a German lady, I love their food and beer. I just returned from a trip to Germany...
No No - not a british thing.
I do Sunday afternoons without beer (I prefer a nice sauvignon blanc or two).
