sad is the only word / emotion that comes to mind. Someone should put an end to this.

I wouldn't think that one horrible move could ruin the image of a company, but for this one, we may have to make an exception.

Oh my god... that looks like one of those April Fools articles, but it isn't. That could be a case study for marketing classes in business school.

Are there worse examples from the past?

This is really quite distressing. Take a long-in-the-tooth digicam, wrap it in the seat bolster from a 1979 Ford Cortina, add Etch-a-sketch blobby knobbies and - Bob's your Dane, the Looney - sorry, Lunar. I cannot imagine why anyone with an ounce of taste, a pecksnif of practicality or a scintilla of commonsense would fork out hard earned wedge for this abomination.

I did start a thread about designers not being recognised for their efforts

In this case these people should be named but my guess its really a committee chaired by a camel

I wish people would see the pure practicality of design that's a camel - it's just human beings that try to do silly things like ride one!

Yes you are right Bart - Camels are at least honestly designed for their environment. I believe some of them can be quite expensive too.

perhaps a rewording? - A committee of camels chaired by a Platypus produces a White Elephant.

  13. Fun.

Hey that thing has no autofocus, no advanced contrast, and no rapid shot capabilities

The review mentions that the Lunar was at Camera Lane. I might pop over there and see if they still have it, as I'd like to see such a cringeworthy embarrassment first hand!

Sadly, Hasselblad execs are so into themselves they feel the Hasselblad badge can sell any piece of crap ... unfortunately they may be right.

A camel is a horse designed by a committee.

I'll keep dreaming about getting a digital back for my 500CM, thank you very much. That's at least a real Hasselblad.

Why they don't do this remains a mystery to me.

I just want to type, again, how unbelievable it is that they made and sell this thing.

    It's that bad.

I had no choice but to type it twice.
