I've come home for a couple of days. Its great to be back, I should come more often. Today I went into St Andrews, where I went to school. I had lunch with my Dad and his pals before they went for a round of golf and took a quick picture as I left

Then I went up into town, picked up the messages and ran into a variety of people including my old teachers (!). I came back to the car by a slightly longer route to avoid most of the busy bits and passed the cathedral on the way

and the cliffs overlooking Castle Sands (with homage to Briar in the PP)

And then I went to the West Sands to give the dogs a good run along the beach and dunes. The dunes where I learned to fly a kite, had my first proper kiss, learned to drive, had immense beach parties which ended with a swim in the sea followed by a rinse off under the sprinklers of the 18th green on the Old Course, the most revered golf course in the world. It's not a bad life.
