Don, I love the way you've rendered this scene - it's as though I can feel the metal of the escalator...and the exhaustion, at the same time. Who'd have imagine beauty being found there - not me.
 
Very nice Don. I followed this back to your gallery and also saw the color shot of the back of the woman on the train. Even better IMHO - your typical ability to find beauty where few of us would ever notice it.

I love color, and most of the photography I have done in my life time has been on color slides, which are now languishing in files neglected and forlorn. However, there is something compelling about B&W. I don't know what that is, but there is no doubt about it, B&W is special in its own way.:dance2:
 
Dan, did you make it all the way up yet?

It's fun being along with you on your train trip. I've always wished our country had a better train system...because I like the idea of riding the rails, with my camera across the big country.
