I'm in... and I'm off (thankfully) the gear merry go round. I'm glad I got to experience the X100, the NEX and now the GXR but I'm done. They are just tools and I'm glad to have found one that fits my hand well so I can move on. I'm keen to discuss photography as opposed to photographic equipment.

That said, here's a non-photography question or point of order... Does simply posting in this thread add me to the group?

Hey, as long as the cigars are virtual, that's fine with me...and I have no problem with the drinks.

I love a nice Cigar with a Vodka and water... with a lemon squeeze.. I'm in..

Unfortunately Gary this all died a death a long time ago.. It would be great if if could get revived.

there was a special feature of the board where the "group" could interact but I can't find it any more.
