A quick weekend getaway to a tea estate nestled in the Nilgiris in the South of India with the X100, resulted in a few landscape pictures taken at different times of the day. Also met Moby (a charming Alsatian) and played catch for what seems like about 16 hours straight.

Got up at 5:30AM and froze my butt off to take these pics. Deeply regretted buying the X100 which makes me do things like this. (Shot in RAW)

Here's Moby and his stone. I dare anyone to say no to that face! (JPG, levels adj.)

Absolutely adore those shots over the hills, with the mist lying low in the valleys. Just stunning. Makes me want to go. NOW.

Boid, breathtaking & beautiful! For a few years now I have fantasised about retiring there. These pictures have me set on visiting to find a cottage or patch as soon as possible.

Great shots! My favourites are #2 for the wonderful, wonderful green tones, and #4 for the composition, I like how it's framed by trees on either side.

If it weren't for random frogs crawling out from inside the toilet bowl, I wouldn't have come back to civilization at all!

Superb shots! India is such a magical and diverse place for photography, if not the easiest country to travel in. I would go back there in a heartbeat (with a camera or three of course!).

For my part, I'm glad you bought the X100! Other wise we would maybe, not have enjoyed the wonderful views.
