Fuji Thoughts and pics from my new x100!

I've never had trouble with reading cards on my Mac either, but I've read of many people who have. And my ipad is a nightmare with Fuji cams - the first couple of times I uploaded to my ipad with my X100 I thought my camera had died it took so long to start up. X10 and X-Pro do the same. So its now just a matter of routine that I don't ever upload my files without then immediately doing a reformat after I turn the camera back on. And I turn it on and reformat it THEN, so I don't get a rude surprise/delay out in the field the next day. But that's pretty much always my process with any camera - I reformat as soon as I upload. Having images on my computer (or ipad) and leaving them on a card can only result in confusion and I don't need any MORE of that!

You could hate Fuji for writing firmware that doesn't know how to cope with a couple of invisible files on the card. Apple writes the same hidden files to any card you use, and my Fuji's are the only cameras I've ever had trip over them.

Why would I hate Fuji. They help me make beautiful photos.
