Sigma Tree and rock

I went up to a favourite scenic spot (Surprise View, Derbyshire) last night to try and catch a decent sunset with my X Pro 1 and E-M10 - weather forecast looked good for it. Of course come the hour come the clouds but rather than abandon the trip I thought I would at least see if I could get anything usable.

I have been there a few times but for some reason never spotted this tree before. Luckily as well as the other bodies I had packed my DP2M - perfect for this shot. Still blown away by the resolving power of the DPx Merrills.

Indeed - if you never took photos when conditions weren't as expected you would never take photos!
