There are few things I find more enjoyable with photography than taking an ultra-wide to some interesting (or potentially interesting) architecture. The local University just graduated and I headed down there this morning. I rarely did much photography down there when the main school year is in session - don't want to be the creepy old guy walking around with a camera with all of those kids walking and sitting around. Spent a few minutes at the student union building and the music building (where my younger daughter spent a good chunk of her youth) with the XT1 and Fuji's new-ish 10-24. I think these were all at 10mm - it really may as well just be a fixed 10mm in my hands - that's pretty much how I use this lens.

Yeah same for me and my sigma 8-16, I basically use it as a 8mm prime :p

    Great series Ray!

I was looking for a thread to stick a couple of ultra-wide architectural shots in and did a search, and damned if it didn't turn up this old thread I'd started for exactly the same type of thing last Spring. The stuff I shot then was with the Fuji 10-24 and an XT1 or XE2. Now that I've moved on from Fuji, these are with the Df and the Rokinon 14mm. This was one of the very first lenses I bought when I switched to Nikon full frame (and I think the ONLY of my current lenses I bought new!), but I've barely used it, having added a Zeiss 21mm which I use for most of my wide shooting. But I've seen some good stuff from this lens lately and decided I ought to pull it out more. So today I took it for a short walk and grabbed a few shots. One ultra wide - two ultra-tall...
