Or you could just put some duct tape around the top, Dave, that is if the broom's bristles are still in good shape.

My grandfather could probably coax an extra few decades out of a broom like that.

In the same vein as what I just wrote to Antonio with his Kodak that kissed the Earth. I'm with BB, employ a little Nanna Technology to this baby. A bit of tape, and she'll be right for another few years yet.

An acute observation well captured too by the way mate!

  5. actually

I am actually thinking of taking a saw and cutting off the end. The bristles are fine, so no need to get rid of it.

Sounds good, Dave - and much tidier than duct taping that rusty part.

Not much left here at this rock crushing plant:

Which ones are better, the original color or the sepia version

I think I prefer the sepia versions, Dave. I do like the color of rust with the blue sky, however, especially in your first, the sepia version gives it a rather strong feeling of either Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" or perhaps - "Road Warrior".

  9. Thanks BBW. I think I like the color for the first one and the sepia for the second.

I agree with you Dave #1 colour and #2 sepia.
