    It looks like a very useful feature for users of manual focus lenses for both still photography and video.

    Good on Sony for offering this functionality in a firmware update for NEX-3 and NEX-5 users :2thumbs:.

    The only other thing I read about is a set of 'picture effects' processing filters as in the new NEX-C3: Partial Color, Retro Photo, Pop Color, High Contrast Monochrome, Posterization, High-key, Toy Camera. Soft Skin.

    The release date I have seen is June 20.

    If it works as well as that video indicates, it could be the best method for MF short of a rangefinder. Looking forward to giving it a try on the 20th...

    Yeah, it may actually make using MF lenses on my NEX quite doable without an EVF!
