In the rain, but not in Spain. We like the dentist way out in Groton best, but it requires a 4 mile bike ride to the commuter rail near home, then a 45 min train ride, then a 5 mile bike ride on gorgeous rail-trail to get there. We enjoy the whole process, to be honest, as long as the paths aren't frozen over. I had the X100 with me yesterday, and when the return train proved to be an hour late, I killed time in my usual fashion. Was fun to try to get "good work" out of the old X100 again. I don't try all that often anymore, even though I love it emotionally, as I keep noticing its flaws relative to the XT1. But MAN is it small, light, and silent. Good to be freshed on those facts.

    Rain continues

Might as well go buy a beer nextdoor...

If you like the X100 then you will love the X100s, especially the black version - really good leooking and even better IQ than the older model and a vastly improved AF.

I have no desire/need to upgrade(?) to the X100T so happy to stay with what I have,

One day. One fine, fine day, I will be in the right place and have money, and I will snap up a used X100T, or a deeply discounted one once the X100ZX1000fourmillion comes out.
