    the bulk of it is (out of focus) grass with some specular highlights. That orange/red bit on the right is a pole whose purpose is unknown to me.

    The orange feature on the right is so brightly coloured that I think it might be the edge of a warning sign. It's probably too lurid for "Keep Off The Grass" though.

    Tuesday is on its way out around here - and I guess I left it long enough. Marlof's got it almost entirely right - except for the exact purpose: Those poles are put up in winter in order to mark the road should it get covered in snow. Very ironic this year, as you can see from the background - we've hardly had any snow this year, and I seriously doubt we'll get any in the next two months (which was actually quite often the case in the past, but ... well, those times seem to have gone).

    So it's up to @marlof@marlof to provide us with a new proposition :)
