Howdy! Below is this week's challenge. As usual, first the rules:

Each member gets one guess. The answer will be revealed on the following Tuesday. The first correct guess has the honor/honour of submitting the image for the next challenge. Sometimes there will be more than one thing in the photo or more than one way to accurately describe what the photo represents. The original poster will be the final judge of who is "most correct".

    Have fun!

I'm on the same track. I was going to say a pile of contiboard or plasterboard.

I visualized the actual item for a millisecond and then the answer vanished. Maybe a cup of coffee will jar it loose

I'd tend to agree with Bill P. I think it's a stack of things rather than an individual object. Trouble is I can't figure out what the things are.

I'm trying to figure out if those are layers of something banded together (out of frame) or if they are curved for some reason

All these guesses are making me so very happy!!! I took the photo last March with WIIW in mind and no one is close (and this is not obscure).

I don't know what WIIW means but I've not had my dinner yet, it's late, my tummy is rumbling so I'm guessing a thinly sliced loaf of tasty bread. Hopefully with a jar of Reece's chocolate peanut butter on the side just out of the camera view. Odd choice too as I don't like peanut butter! I guess I'm hungry!

WIIW = What Is It Wednesday :). (I must admit that, on first sight, I read this as WWII...)

I'll reveal in about 3-4 hours. Aside from stacked no one is close. Hint: it is part of a common household object. Go ahead and take another round of WAGs (wild ass guess).

Here's what it is -> a MasterLock pad lock (that was hanging in a tree). Since no one suggested it was layers of metal I'm choosing Luke as the winner. Only because if you changed the B&W to sepia tone I suppose it would look like layers of cork!!

It was a day that I kept my X-10 on B&W during my walk. Though in color the lock itself wouldn't have looked much different!
