My SOOC B&W from X100s. Below is my setting, what is your B&W setting in X100/s/t?
Let share your recipe! :) NO Post Processing.... only Straight Out Of Camera!

Film Simulation = Monochrome + R Filter
Noise Reduction = -2
Highlight Tone = +1
Shadow Tone = +2
Sharpness = +1
Dynamic Range = 100%
White Balance = Auto

Use this both on X100 and X100T

But - I rarely use the in camera B&W. I tend to process in Lightroom with either Nik or onOne plugins.
 
Can't join, never use the camera black and white, since using Macphun and/or Nik software. But will follow this thread for one is never to old to learn . . .
 
I sometimes do B&W SOOC, but other than the same settings I use for color, the only thing I remember are choices between "high contrast b&w" versus normal. But those are interpreted way differently by different cameras... When I get b&w's on the computer though, I do adjust the tone/color, although they are saved as monochrome.
