Camera of the year that I bought this year- the Leica M9.

Lens of the year that I made this year, 1936 5cm f1.5 Sonnar converted to Leica mount. This lens was from the test batch of coated optics at the Zeiss factory.

nex 7, finally a CSC that goes all-out and really challenges the higher level DSLRs in just about every aspect that's relevant (although the handling will probably be a matter of taste).
