In LR3, when I press 'L' a couple of times, the screen blacks out leaving only the photo, and the photo has a very thin white border framing it.

When I do this in LR4, there is no white border.

Does anyone know how I can get that thin white border back? I liked that border.

    Not too far from Philly
you should be able to figure it out...
Is it a border that's now part of the image or just part of the LR display? I know you can do white or black borders using the vignette sliders - hard borders but with rounded corners. But I'm not sure if that's what you're talking about...

No it's not part of the image, it's part of the LR display. It only turns up when I press the "L" to turn the screen black to display just the photo. I don't really know how to find the function that gives me the white border back.

as i understand it, you can't: a change in functionality was made between v3 & v4

Ahmwell easy come easy go, I suppose. I wonder why they wouldn't leave it in as an option.
