Why Hackers Love Zuikos - a modern love story

Users of Serious Compact cameras with interchangable lenses are are likely to be bitten by the lens hacking bug. The Olympus Zuiko lenses originally built for the OM series film cameras are really nice to use with your new digital camera body. Read about my experience using them on Olympus 4/3 and Panasonic m4/3 cameras at: http://home.comcast.net/~docfox/photo/Hackers.pdf

Good luck and happy hacking,

George

I added three new pages to this paper today. It now provides example images from the six Zuiko lenses discussed, and a few comments on use. The URL (address) remains the same.

With best regards,

George

I read the pdf but it's not really 'hacking' is it?....more just the using of older lenses. I interpret 'lens hacking' as unscrewing bits of lenses and making new flanges or incorporating elements of other lenses etc........

.......Here in the UK 'hacking' and 'hackers' have taken on a whole new meaning in recent weeks!
