Last weekend we went to Dunsfold Aerodrome (where Top Gear is filmed) to enjoy "Wings and Wheels". This combined car and air show has been running for the past nine years and features vehicles old (mostly old) and new. The big draw for me this year was the chance to see the Avro Vulcan flying for one of the last times. It is not in this first batch of photos but I promise to give you a glimpse a bit later.

For now, these are the shots I took shortly after arrival, around some of the static displays (and ice cream vans)...

Nice shots! But don't tell me the Vulcan's gonna stop flying?

  4. Nice shooting.

Love the old birds. Amazing to think man has always been flying just over 100 years.

Great shots -- especially the b/w of the planes.

Great images, thanks for sharing. The family and I are big Top Gear fans, and I've always wondered which airport/airfield they filmed the car test and Reasonably Priced Car sequences. I like the last two original images in particular, and the one of the Vulcan. Great stuff.
